Paco Morell sets the tone with his verse, mixing his love for the game with his passion for rap:
"On the golf course, you can find me, smoking green, looking fresh as f***, nobody behind me...I grab the club, I size it up, I line it up, I grip the club, I swing the club, I hit the ball, it's in the air, left to right, you see it right, yeah that's me on the green putting for 3." Paco's lyrics blend the precision of golf with the rhythm of rap, creating a unique vibe that's both fun and fierce.

 

Big Cimi (Kyle Cimmino) brings his own unique style and expertise to the track. A seasoned golfer and rap enthusiast, Big Cimi combines his deep knowledge of the sport with his lyrical prowess. His verse is a confident showcase of his skills:
"From the tips, move my hips, I tee it high and let it rip...I got a bag with 14 weapons, I hit it pure, watch it soar, it's rolling true on that green velour." Big Cimi’s laid-back flow and clever wordplay illustrate his command over the game, making him a force to be reckoned with both on the mic and on the links. Outside of rap, Kyle Cimmino is known for his strategic approach to the game, often likened to a true student of golf.

Triggs (Kyle Cady) adds his own flavor to the track, rapping from the perspective of a caddie with streetwise swagger:
"I don't play this fly ass game I just make sure you da boss on the course...Carrying weight like Rick Ross, flippin' birds like birdman, handin' clubs like a big boss." Triggs brings an edgy, no-nonsense attitude that complements the track’s dynamic energy, adding depth to this unique hip-hop golf anthem. As a drummer for the rock band Saddle Tramp, Kyle Cady brings a rhythmic intensity to his verse, blending his musical talents with his passion for storytelling. Triggs’s experience as a caddie and his background in rock music create a compelling juxtaposition that resonates throughout the track.

 

The beat, crafted by Grammy winning producer Tone Jones, marries the pulse of hip-hop with the feel of a championship course. His production delivers a backdrop that's as fresh and unpredictable as a day on the links.

 

Born in Canada and raised in New York, Paco Morell has lived in Ocala, Florida, for more than half his life. His lifelong love of golf and hip-hop is deeply influenced by his musical upbringing. His father, Marty Morell, is a renowned jazz drummer who played with legends like Robert Goulet, Bill Evans, and the Duke Ellington Band, and also served as a jazz professor at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Paco’s journey from DJing and producing hip-hop beats in his teens to becoming a Communications Director and avid golfer is reflected in his music, with "Birdie Man" capturing his diverse talents and passions.
